Flooding is thought to still be affecting the car park at Tesco on Shripney Road and land and caravans at Riverside Caravan Centre and Rowan Park Caravan Park. Water will still affect fields near Shripney Lane and the A259, and some areas of Durban Road. The Barnham Rife is higher than normal, but has already fallen from its peak. However, a lot of rain is forecast for Thursday (25-30mm, nearly a third of a month's rain) with more rain Saturday (10-20mm). The Aldingbourne and Barnham Rifes will rise again, property flooding is possible from 07:30 16/11/2023 on both rivers. The Aldingbourne Rife might not return to normal until December. Some roads will be affected by flood water, please plan to avoid driving through routes vulnerable to flooding, including Shripney Lane. Please install flood protection products now in Barnham, if you have them. We are clearing grilles through Barnham, including at the Trading Post and our pumps at Felpham are running to reduce flood risk. We will update this message by 21:00 16/2/2020
